  • Farnsworth Art Museum – One of the finest regional art museums in the country with a specialized collection focusing on Maine's role in American art.

  • Maine Lighthouse Museum – The proud home of the largest collection of lighthouse lenses, and one of the most important landmark collections of lighthouse artifacts and Coast Guard memorabilia in the United States. The collection was formerly displayed at the Shore Village Museum until its closing in October, 2004.

  • Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse – The Friends of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse are currently working to restore the Keeper's house to be used as a museum.
